Balance of Life Self-Development Retreat for Female Entrepreneurs & Leaders

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Balance of Life Self-Development Retreat for Female Entrepreneurs and Leaders, organized by Elsyung Consulting Limited. We are excited to have you join us for this transformative experience. By registering for this retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which outline the obligations and expectations for all attendees.

2. Booking & Payment

To secure your spot at the retreat, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost is required upon booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full 3 weeks before the retreat. We only accept payment via bank transfer. Details will be provided in due course.

3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your participation in the retreat, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
The following cancellation fees apply:

• Cancel within 3 to 2 weeks before the retreat: 50% refund of the total cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
• Cancel 2 weeks before the retreat: 20% refund of the total cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
• Cancel 3 days before the retreat: No refund.

4. Travel & Accommodation
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own flights and/or transportation to and from the retreat location in Japan. Attendees are required to obtain and maintain their own travel insurance for the retreat at their own cost to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the trip. Proof of travel insurance must be provided to the retreat organizer prior to departure. The retreat organizer is not responsible for any expenses or losses not covered by the attendee’s travel insurance.
Accommodation, meals, and transport during the retreat will be provided. Any additional nights or room upgrades will be subject to availability and additional fees.

5. Health & Safety
The retreat involves various physical and mental activities. By participating, you confirm that you are in good health and fit to take part in all scheduled activities. If you have any concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before attending the retreat.
We are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the retreat. Attendees are expected to follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by the retreat team.

6. Retreat Schedule & Activities
The retreat schedule, including workshops, activities, and meal times, will be provided upon arrival. We highly encourage attendees to participate in all activities, as they are designed to enhance your retreat experience and foster personal growth and connections.
We reserve the right to make changes to the retreat schedule or cancel specific activities due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will do our best to provide alternative options, ensuring that the retreat remains a valuable and fulfilling experience for everyone involved.

7. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards fellow participants, retreat staff, and the local community. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the retreat without a refund.

8. Intellectual Property
All materials and content provided during the retreat, including but not limited to workshops, presentations, and handouts, are the intellectual property of Elsyung Consulting Limited and/or guest speakers. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of these materials is strictly prohibited.
By attending the retreat, you grant us permission to use any photos or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes.

9. Liability
By participating in the retreat, you agree to release and hold harmless Elsyung Consulting Limited, guest speakers, and retreat staff from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from your attendance and participation in the retreat.

10. Privacy & Personal Information
We collect personal information during registration and the retreat to facilitate your participation, communicate important updates, customize your retreat experience, and seek feedback to improve future retreats. We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Hong Kong.
By registering for Balance of Life Self-Development Retreat for Female Entrepreneurs & Leaders, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

12. Minimum registration requirement
Please note that the retreat will only proceed if there are six or more participants registered. If the number of participants falls below six, the retreat will be cancelled, and all participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
